EPL: This year will be Liverpool’s year

Ahah!…don’t you agree with me that this year or this season 2008-2009 it will be the Liverpool’s year. Maybe it is too early but that is my prediction. Yesterday I did not see the match and I am not surprised with the result shown,

Yesterday was a day that had started so well for Man United but ended disastrously as substitute Liverpool Ryan Babel’s late strike earned The Reds their first league win over the other Reds since April 2004 and ended their Anfield hoodoo against Sir Alex’s men. Oh! want a game huh!

“For too long we’ve been off the pace in the league and it’s been all about Man United and Chelsea. Now we’ve gone to the top of the league and put a bit of breathing space between ourselves and United,” said Jamie Carragher yesterday.

Being a gentleman, Sir Alex Ferguson admitted Liverpool deserved to win the game at Anfield because United failed to cope with their physical approach. This is what he said at MUFC official website.

Rafael Benitez said, “I AM SO PROUD OF MY TEAM”. Read Liverpool’s story here, Liverpool Vs Manchester United Liveblog, if you did not watch the match yesterday and read from the Liverpool’s official website on this great win against a great team like Man United.
