Twenty-eight-year-old Malaysian Kimberley Ho, founder of Evereden, a brand that produces non-toxic skincare products for children, has just made it to the annual Forbes 30 under 30 2019 list.

Kimberly moved to the United States ten years ago to attend Stanford University, and after graduating, worked on Wall Street as a consumer brands investor.
Between her work, and new-parent friends, Kimberly saw the need for “safe, natural” formulas in the childcare market. The American business magazine said Ho then decided to fill the gap in the market by starting Evereden in March 2018.
“Since launching in March 2018, Ho, a Malaysian immigrant, has raised US$2mil (RM8.38mil) and her products have received accolades from Bobbi Brown and Vogue, among others,” it said.
Speaking to Business Insider earlier this year, she told the publication that she had recently rejected US$2 million in unsolicited venture capitalist offers:
“There’s no such thing as a free lunch,” she said. “With VC funding, strings always comes attached,” and Ho hopes that she can guide her brand to “still be here in 100 years,”
An earlier interview in Forbes in May revealed that the enterprising Malaysian initially studied economics, later moving on to Goldman Sachs, and then to Oaktree Capital.
